UW-Stout announces death of officer

The UW-Stout Polytechnic Police Department is saddened to announce the unexpected, off-duty death of Sergeant Lucas Kinblom, who served UW-Stout Polytechnic since June 1, 2020.

As the staff at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic Police Department processes the grief of losing Sergeant Kinblom, we ask for patience and understanding from the community and to respect the privacy of Sergeant Kinblom's family.

Public visitation is scheduled to begin at 1 pm with funeral services beginning at 3 pm on Saturday, June 27, at Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie.

The Bowman Clock Tower bell will ring in Sgt Kinblom’s honor at 10 am on Friday, June 26.
