With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Sang Lee, 39, who left this world on August 3, 2025, during a church retreat in Walker, Minnesota.
Born on October 2, 1985, in Merced, California, Sang was known for her bright humor, boundless generosity, and steadfast devotion to those she loved.
A dedicated CNA and supervisor, Sang poured herself into caring for others—volunteering for the homeless, serving faithfully in her church, and offering kindness wherever she could. Her greatest joy came from her children, her family, her faith, and the simple act of helping others.
Sang is lovingly remembered by her parents, May Xiong and Boua Chao Lee; her children, Preity (13), Navid (10), and Timothy (24); her brothers, Montana, Kue, Kao, and Nhia; and her sisters, Pa Foua, Soua, Lou, Bao, Carol, and Nancy.
She now reunites in peace with her beloved younger sister, Chua Lee.
A celebration of Sang’s life will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025, at Cedarbrook Church.
In honor of her giving spirit, the family encourages all who knew her to carry forward her legacy—living with kindness, faith, and compassion in their daily lives.
