We are over our heads in pears, so we are calling all canners to swing by Stepping Stones to fill up on as many boxes of pears as your heart desires. When you come to the facility, ring the bell at the pantry side of the building and we will load you up.

Tammy Wood-Garr, founder and director of the Wisconsin Foster Closet, has been nominated for the Super Mom contest with NewBeauty Magazine. Tammy is a local mom of 9 children, grandma to 15 beautiful grandbabies, and has opened her home to countless foster children over the last 15+ years. The winner receives $20,000, and Tammy would use it to purchase a safer 12- or 15-passenger van to better transport the kids she cares for. You can vote HERE, once per day for free.

From Menomonie Parks and Rec:

The Pine Avenue project contractor will be completing a court resurfacing project on the new basketball court and pickleball courts. As part of the project, they will also be resurfacing the existing tennis court and pickleball courts. The courts will be closed Thursday, May 28th until Friday, June 12th. The courts will be opened when the project is complete.

Calling all Ultimate Frisbee players - head over to Menomonie Alliance Church on Wednesdays starting on June 3rd for pick up games, 6-7:30.
