August 5th was National Underwear Day. The Bridge to Hope shared that new underwear is one of the most needed and least donated items for individuals and families seeking their help. Having brand-new essentials like underwear can provide comfort, dignity, and a fresh start during an incredibly difficult time.

Please consider donating to The Bridge to Hope. They are always in need of NEW underwear (all sizes for women, men, and children), diapers (all sizes, especially sizes 4–7), and pull-ups and baby wipes. Donations can be dropped off at their office during regular business hours.

The Boys & Girls Club in Menomonie is looking for gently used books - anything for kids grades K-6. They are also looking for toys for kids ages 7-12. Donations can be dropped off at River Heights Elementary from 7:30am - 6pm Monday through Friday.

Unfortunately, I will no longer be sharing posts from 20 years ago. The quality of the photos from 2006 is very poor. Also, this seems to be when the paper started its decline; I can only find one or two pictures in each paper.
