This is one of 8 total coordinated rallies across Wisconsin on June 4, including Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton, Kenosha, Janesville, Green County (Monroe), and Wausau.

WHAT: In light of the Callais, the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition is firing up our demand for an Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) that empowers citizens,  not political parties.

For the past year, we've built public support for our draft proposal. Now it's time to make our demands heard.

After this fall, the entire Wisconsin Legislature will have been elected under fair maps, but these are temporary, and we need a process ahead of 2030. This is our moment to demand durable change.

WHO: The League of Women Voters–Greater Chippewa Valley is joining the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition along with local co-sponsors Chippewa Valley Votes, JONAH, Wisconsin Public Education Network (WPEN), and Grassroots Organizing Western Wisconsin (GROWW) to rally for the creation of an Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) that puts citizens first

WHEN: Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

WHERE: Dunn County Veterans Memorial, at 6th Ave and Crescent St, Menomonie.
