Mary Donihi York

Mary Donihi York passed away peacefully at the Neighbors of Dunn County. Mary was born in Berlin, Germany, to Robert Mills Donihi and Mary Erma Donihi on January 31st, 1949. Mary spent many of her years growing up in Nashville, Tennessee. She married James York, and they had four children together. Over the years, Mary traveled around the world and later settled in Menomonie, WI.

Mary had a zest for life and was a devoted Christian. Mary’s favorite place was either at the beach or at the church. Over the years, Mary was always there to lend a listening ear and offer help to those in need. The most special part of her life was raising her granddaughter Felicia. The two would share a love and bond that was unbreakable.

Mary is survived by her children, Thomas (Tracy) York, Michael York, Michelle York, and her grandchildren, Felicia, Emma, Grace, Nicholas, Jordan, Noah, Mariah, and Jackson, and many friends whom she calls family.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James York; her father, Robert Mills Donihi; Her mother, Mary Donihi; her brother, Robert Donihi; her grandson, Andrew York-Bogard, son in law Terry York-Bogard; and many other cherished loved ones.

A Celebration of life has been planned for 12:00 p.m. on November 15th, 2025 at Love Church in Menomonie, WI.
