Marilyn Mercilla (Grogan) Peterson

Marilyn Mercilla (Grogan) Peterson passed away on February 6, 2026, in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

She was born on January 21, 1929, in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Malcolm and Maybelle (Baker) Grogan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, one son, Michael, her parents and all of her siblings.

Marilyn is survived by children: Colleen (Duane) Schindler, Maureen Ryan, and Patrick (Velvet) Peterson.

She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral service will be held. Marilyn will be laid to rest at a later date at Hay River Cemetery, where she will be buried next to Keith.
