Marilyn Louise Arnsdorff (Delmar) age 94, of Mondovi, WI passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Neighbors of Dunn County.
She was born on July 21, 1931 in Red Wing, MN to Fred Delmar and Wilmay (Hanson). She grew up in the Red Wing area and graduated from Red Wing High School in 1949. She attended nursing school and earned an LPN nursing degree in 1951. She went on to work at Miller Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Several years later she went back to school for a refresher course and worked at Group Health Clinic in St. Paul and other area clinics.
Marilyn married Carl D. Pearson on June 15, 1955 in St. Paul, MN. They had 2 children. She loved to cook, garden and sew. She was president of E.A. International. She also volunteered at many church and community functions. She divorced and married Daniel Arnsdorff on June 19, 1993 in St. Paul, MN. They later moved to rural Menomonie and then Mondovi, WI.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Dan of Mondovi, WI; one son Keith D. Pearson of St. Paul, MN; one daughter Dawn L. Pearson of Mondovi, WI; one granddaughter Lisa A. Zenicek of Burnsville, MN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Wilmay Delmar; a sister Marjorie B. Canfield; one daughter Baby Girl Pearson, one son Bradley O. Pearson, an ex-husband Carl D. Pearson and a granddaughter Jamie L. Lair.
A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.
