Our MAKE IT! series is back. Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m., we offer awesome activities in Fulton's Workshop.
Each will have a focus or theme, but you can also come and explore the workshop if the planned activity doesn't interest you, there are plenty of other things that might, including micro:bit hands-on, our new Lego Wall, cardboard construction, magnet wall challenge, wind tunnel and many more. Come and explore!
Come explore hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) projects for all ages!
We want to:
Create a fun, interactive learning environment
Emphasizes imagination and creativity
Make curious and thoughtful learners
Come at any point to participate.
Free for museum members. Regular admission rate for non-members.

MAKE IT! Schedule
March 5: Sock Puppets Design expressive sock puppets using craft materials. This activity supports storytelling, character creation and imaginative play.
March 12: Paper Making We'll create handmade paper by recycling pulp and forming sheets. This tactile activity explores materials, recycling and texture.
March 19: Binary Beads Binary code is the “language” to communicate information between computers, communication devices, and many more modern technologies. Create bracelets or necklaces encoding your initials or name using binary code. This activity introduces computer science concepts in a hands-on, artistic way.
March 26: Borax Crystal Making Grow crystals on pipe cleaners using a supersaturated solution. This activity demonstrates crystal formation and patience as a scientific process.
