Our MAKE IT! series is back. Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m., we offer awesome activities in Fulton's Workshop.
Each will have a focus or theme, but you can also come and explore the workshop if the planned activity doesn't interest you, there are plenty of other things that might, including micro:bit hands-on, our new Lego Wall, cardboard construction, magnet wall challenge, wind tunnel and many more. Come and explore!
Come explore hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) projects for all ages!
We want to:
Create a fun, interactive learning environment
Emphasizes imagination and creativity
Make curious and thoughtful learners
Come at any point to participate.
Free for museum members. Regular admission rate for non-members.

MAKE IT! Schedule
April 2: Classic Friendship Bracelets Learn classic knotting techniques to create colorful woven bracelets inspired by 1990s craft trends.
April 9: Marionettes Marionettes are puppets with jointed limbs that are moved from above by manipulation of attached strings or wires. We’ll create simple-to-make marionettes out of paper cutouts and learn to control their movements.
April 16: Straw Structures Participants will build freestanding structures using straws and connectors, exploring stability and engineering design.
April 23: Egg Carton Animals Turn recycled materials into adorable egg carton animal portraits with just a few basic supplies! Kids and adults will enjoy creating fun and silly animals that are ready for display.
