Machelle Ann Radtke, 61, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on March 23, 2026.
Born on March 9, 1965, to Robert and Suzanne Radtke, Chelley was raised in Elmwood, Wisconsin, and graduated from Elmwood High School in 1983. She later made her home in southwest Georgia for a number of years with her significant other, Lonnie Pierce, and their two children, Amber and Tanner. Eventually, she returned to Wisconsin where she spent many years working as a certified nursing assistant, dedicating herself to caring for others. Later, she worked in the bakery at Dick’s Fresh Market in Menomonie. She was an excellent cook and proudly known as the “grill master.” Above all else, Chelley enjoyed being a grandmother. Her three grandsons, Levi, Hunter, and Chevy provided her with years of laughter and love. She loved them very much and they will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susie, and her sister, Tracey.
She is survived by her father, Bob; her brother, Chris; lifelong significant other, Lonnie; her daughter, Amber, mother to grandson, Levi; and her son, Tanner, father to Hunter and Chevy; along with other relatives and friends.
Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Mayo Clinic Health System in Menomonie and Eau Claire, and especially to her “Dream Team” in Rochester, MN, for their compassionate coordination of her care.
In accordance with her wishes, no public funeral service will be held. If you knew Chelley and feel so inclined, her daughter asks that you plant sunflowers in honor of her, as those were her favorite flowers. She is already deeply missed.
Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Menomonie, is serving the family.
