July 17th Races Cancelled

𝐃𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐰-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟕, 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝.

As many are aware, the City of Menomonie is experiencing extremely high water demand due to the ongoing hot, dry weather. As a result, many residents and businesses throughout the community are without water or experiencing significantly reduced water pressure.

The City has implemented an irrigation ban, which limits our ability to use the Speedway's on-site water supply for race operations.

Red Cedar Speedway is committed to being a good neighbor and supporting our community during this time. In an effort to conserve water, allow the City's water system to recover, and prioritize the safety of our drivers, fans, and employees during the extreme heat, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Friday night's racing program.

While we are disappointed that we won't be racing this Friday, we believe this is the right decision for our community. We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation and look forward to welcoming fans, drivers, and teams back next weekend for THREE exciting nights of on track activities planned during the Dunn County Fair!
