Fonda Jean (Webb) Mork

Fonda Jean Webb, age 74, of Elmwood, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and many people who loved her dearly.

Fonda was born to Neil and Phyllis Webb and grew up in Elmwood, Wisconsin. She was a hardworking woman who dedicated many years to Conagra, where she worked until her retirement.

Fonda was previously married to August Ziehl, and together they were blessed with one son, August “Augie” Ziehl Jr. Later in life, Fonda found love and companionship with Odie Mork. The two shared 24 wonderful years together, building a life filled with love, family, and memories.

Fonda was a phenomenal cook and a talented artist. She loved flowers and gardening and had a special talent for making things beautiful. She also enjoyed refinishing furniture and fixing things. If something could be fixed, repaired, or made to look better, Fonda could find a way to do it. She had a special way of putting her creativity and talents into everything she did.

Family was incredibly important to Fonda. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and took great pride in watching her family grow. She loved living next door to her son, Augie, and was always happy to be close by and able to help him whenever he needed her. She loved her family dearly, and the memories she created with them will be treasured for years to come.

Fonda is survived by her son, August “Augie” Ziehl Jr. of Elmwood; her significant other, Odie Mork of Elmwood; her siblings, Nancy Webb of Menomonie, Scott (Sue) Webb of Menomonie, Steve Webb of Elmwood, and Kim Webb of River Falls; Odie’s three daughters, Mindy (Joel) Eckert, Stacy (Jay) Mork, and Chelsea Mork; and her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly: Isabel, Isaac, and Iris Eckert; Aiden and Gracea Mork, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Phyllis Webb.

Though she is no longer with us, Fonda’s memory will live on through her son, her family, her grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have shared a part of her life.

Rest peacefully, Fonda. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2026 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Teresa Pejsa officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00-6:00.
