Municipal Boards - cities, townships, and villages
City of Menomonie
Because there are three candidates for mayor, a primary will be necessary in the City of Menomonie, which will be held on February 17th for that race only.

Villages and Townships
Municipalities and villages in Dunn County may have seats up for election on the spring ballot. What will be on the ballot varies as each municipality and village is unique. Elected officials include town chairpersons, supervisors, clerks, and treasurers, as well as village presidents, trustees, and clerks.
Some municipalities have combined clerk/treasurer positions, and the clerk and treasurer positions may also be appointed rather than elected. Townships will also vary in the number of supervisors they have, and villages can vary in the number of trustees they have.

SDMA School Board
Three seats are up for election. Those seats are held by Dale Dahlke, Amy Riddle-Swanson, and Amber Kersting. Kersting is not seeking reelection.
There are five candidates registered to run for the School Board in the April 7, 2026, Spring Election. In accordance with election procedures, a drawing of lots to determine ballot order was conducted on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Administrative Service Center Board Room, located at 215 Pine Avenue East, Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Circuit Court Judge
Dunn County Circuit Court Judge, Branch I - James M. Peterson is running unopposed as he seeks another 6-year term.
State Elections
Wisconsin Supreme Court
One seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will be on the ballot, following the announcement that Justice Rebecca Grassl Bradley will not seek re-election. Two candidates have filed to run for the office: Chris Taylor and Maria S. Lazar. The winner of the April election will serve a ten-year term.
