Edith “Edie” A. Hagen

Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Edith “Edie” Hagen, who passed away on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2026, at the age of 91 years at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire, WI.

Edie was born March 30, 1935, in Howards Grove, WI. To George and Helen (Hagen) Hoffman. On September 20th, 1958, Edie married Allen Hagen in Glenwood City, WI, and together raised 4 children.

She found immense joy spending time with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mom had a competitive side to her while playing Scrabble and Yahtzee. After winning, she would sing “Oh victory, oh victory"!

Mom also loved doing crafts, coloring, quilting and watching her favorite team the Packers. She loved all holidays and making special crafts to give everyone. She was a member of Living Hope Church in Menomonie for many years and her memory will live on in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen; parents, George and Helen Hoffman; in-laws, Carl and Lena Hagen; brother, Kenneth Hoffman; sisters, Maxine Wendell and Inez Yerrington; sister-in-law, Judith Hoffman; and brother-in-law, Cliff Wendell.

Edie is survived by her 4 children, Randall (Carol) Hagen, Tamara (Roger) Olson, Gerald (Julie) Hagen, and Sandra (Mike) Kessler. Grandchildren, Jeff (Katie) Hagen, Travis (Tonya) Hagen, Stephanie (Garrett) Oleskow, Brian Miller, Nicole Weber, Allison Miller, Heather (Alec) Swanson, Jake (Amanda) Hagen, Mollie Hagen, Sam (Taylor) Hagen, Drake (Rachel) Kessler, Erika (Logan) Hacker, Brennan (Haily)Kessler, Bradley Kessler and Ellen (Heather) Bennett. She has further survived many great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Living Hope Church in Menomonie with Pastor Brent Juliot. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood City, WI. Friends may call the church on Saturday, one hour prior to services.
