Dennis J. Guth

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis J. Guth, a cherished father and husband from Menomonie, WI. Dennis peacefully departed this life on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving children at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems.

Dennis was born on May 13, 1951, in Waupun, WI, to John and Delores Guth (Belau). He lived a rich and fulfilling life, marked by dedication and passion. After graduating from Waupun High School in 1969, Dennis moved to Menomonie in 1972, where he began his career as a redi-mix truck driver. He devoted many years to Pember Excavating. Dennis was deeply involved in the Menomonie Youth Hockey program, where his tireless efforts to maintain the outdoor rink earned him a place in the Hall of Fame. Dennis cherished his time spent fishing in Canada, woodworking, and enjoying the great outdoors with family during camping, snowmobiling, and hunting trips.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Diane, and his three children: Jeremy (Kari), Brady (Katherine), and Stephanie (fiancé Andrew). He also leaves behind his step-children, Amy Thorson and Jonathan Schlottman. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Morgan and Haleigh Guth, Braxton Boma, Brooks Guth, as well as step-grandsons Robert (Faith) and Treylin (Kaianna)Thorson. Dennis is further remembered by his siblings Debra (Hal) Platter, Steve (Mary) Guth, and Kristine (John) Fischbach.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John and Delores, and his brother, Joey.

Dennis’ family would like to thank Lake Hallie Memory Care Staff for their loving support throughout his stay. Dennis will be dearly missed by all who knew him and his memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

On Friday, July 10, 2026, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI a visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.
