Daniel Francis Neisinger age 97, of Menomonie, WI passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 at Mayo Health System in Menomonie.
He was born September 29, 1928 to Carl and Louise (Berends) Neisinger at home on the farm in the Township of Cady, St. Croix County Wisconsin. He was the second born of eight siblings.
Dan graduated from the Spring Valley High School in 1947.
Dan married Lois Roth on June 10, 1950 in Stanley Wisconsin at the home of Lois's grandmother. They enjoyed 76 years of married life together.
Dan and Lois raised six children on the home farm in Cady: Gay (Brian) Wang, Mark (Bonnie) Neisinger, Nancy (Richard) Spinner, Ruth (Jerry) Peterson, Lane (Kim) Neisinger, Robin (Terry) Witt.
Dan farmed and worked various jobs off the farm to provide for his family throughout the years. He was also a faithful, devoted servant of his heavenly father, Jehovah, since his baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1943. He was a member of the Menomonie congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Dan is survived by his wife Lois, six children and their spouses, 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers and five sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with visitation one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service. The service will be livestreamed through Olson Funeral Home and can be viewed on his memorial page.
Private family burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Spring Valley, WI.
