Constance "Connie" A. Holden

Connie age 80, of Menomonie, WI passed away Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at the Neighbors of Dunn County. She passed away after a battle with COPD and Pneumonia.

She was born May 10th, 1945 in Eau Claire, WI to Roy Whiteside and Frances (nee Meyer). She grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Regis High School.

Connie married Don Holden April 24th, 1965 in Menomonie. They had 4 children together. They enjoyed going to NASCAR races, camping and a good cup of coffee. She loved spending time with her family, the ocean, traveling and raising butterflies.

Connie is survived by her children: Michael (Pat) Holden of Colfax, Mark (Janel) Holden of Edina, and LeAnne Holden of Menomonie; her grandchildren: Christine, Davide (Ashley), Mack (Arianne), Kelsey (Nate), Crystal (Bruce), Alex, Jenna, Dylan, and Parker; her great-grandchildren: Elaura, Brian, Dante, Mylah, and Inez. She is also survived by siblings: Roylene (Craig) Garrett of Madison, Ruthann (Joe) Tarbox, her inlaws: Dave Schmitt, Karen Shaver, Judith Siegel, and Jean (Richard) Stell, Vicki Holden, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Luke, husband Don, sisters, Betty, Ann and Susie, nephew Jeremy; brothers-in-law Paul, Clarence, Harold, and Stan.

We will be honoring her on Thursday March 5th, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie, WI. The visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the service will be at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father John Mano. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall. The burial will be at Christ Lutheran Halvorson Cemetery in Menomonie at a later date.
