Brian T. Buerkle

Brian Buerkle, age 59, of Menomonie, Wi, passed away in Rochester, Mn, on August 10th, 2025, surrounded by family members and friends who loved him deeply.

Brian was born in St. Paul, Mn to Pamela Rae Nemec and Curtis Arthur Buerkle. His family moved to Menomonie, Wi, where he graduated from Menomonie High School in 1984. He had been a mechanic, a machinist, a business manager and an avid outdoorsman in Dunn County where he spent the majority of his life.

Brian loved to be outdoors, whether that was fishing in the waters of Wisconsin and Minnesota, hunting in the Wisconsin woods, or just relaxing around a campfire and a charcoal grill with family and friends. These activities were especially enjoyed if he was with his sons, Curtis Dean and Andrew John (AJ) Buerkle, main prides of his life. Talking to Brian, anytime in the last 24 years, one would always learn everything about his son’s activities, hobbies, and accomplishments.

Brian is survived by his two children, Curtis Dean Buerkle (24), and Andrew John (AJ) Buerkle(12), his boys’ mother, Tammy Hugg, siblings Brent Buerkle and Blake Nemec, mother Pamela Rae Roth and step-mother, Leah Kerg Buerkle.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie, WI.
