Become a Poll Worker!

Interested in serving your community this election season?

The City of Menomonie is looking for poll workers for the upcoming February 17, 2026 Spring Primary Election — whether you’ve helped at the polls before or are brand new to it!

Poll workers play a vital role in helping elections run smoothly, and we offer training, flexible scheduling options, and support every step of the way.

Training options are available both in person and online, including sessions for new poll workers, refreshers, and Badger Book training, managed through the City Clerk's Office.

 Shift options include:

• Half day (6:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. - close)

• Full day (6:30 a.m. – close)

We offer $12.00/hr for Election Officials or $15.00/hr for Chief Election Inspectors.

If you’re interested in becoming a poll worker — or have questions about training, scheduling, or getting started — please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 715-232-2221 Ext.1016 or email clerk@menomonie-wi.gov. New poll workers are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Thank you to everyone who helps make local elections possible. Let’s make this a great election season, Menomonie!
