9th Grade Meet and Greet

Incoming Freshmen students along with a parent/guardian are strongly encouraged to attend one of the presentation times listed below.

Monday, August 10th, 2026 (Presentations at 2:00 pm or 5:30 pm)

Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 (Presentations at 11:00 am or 4:00 pm)

Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 (Presentations at 7:30 am or 12:30 pm)

Families will have the opportunity to meet the MHS administration and hear about the variety of opportunities and expectations for the upcoming school year. This 30-40 minute presentation provides necessary information so that the transition to high school is as smooth as possible.

Additionally, students will receive their course schedules, have their pictures taken for school ID's, have the ability to pay upcoming fees, and parents/guardians can complete the online verification process. Students are also encouraged to locate their classrooms and lockers in the building if they would like to.

10th-12th Grade Schedule Pick up

Incoming 10th-12th grade students are encouraged to come to MHS anytime on their grade level's assigned day to pick up their course schedules for the 2026-27 school year.

Additionally, students will have their pictures taken for school ID's and have the ability to pay upcoming fees. MHS school counselors will also be on-site to answer any questions as needed.

The School District is supplying new Chromebooks to all MHS students at the start of the 2026-27 school year. When students come in for the 9th grade Meet and Greet session or the 10th - 12th grade schedule pickup, please stop in the library to receive the new Chromebook. If students kept an old district-issued Chromebook this summer for a summer class, please bring it to return.

Seniors - Monday, August 10th, 2026 (Anytime between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm)

Juniors - Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 (Anytime between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm)

Sophomores - Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 (Anytime between 7:00 am and 2:30 pm)

Parking permits can also be purchased at this time. Complete this form and turn it into the office with a $10 fee.

August 10th, 11th and 12th - Middle School

Incoming 6th graders and new 7th and 8th graders

All incoming 6th graders and new 7/8th grade students and their families are asked to pick a date/time to attend a one-hour orientation. During this session, families will learn about middle school expectations, schedules, and pay fees. Guidance and administrative staff will be on hand during this time to answer any questions or concerns families might have. Meet in the cafeteria. No need to register.

Tuesday, August 11th, 9:00 am

These sessions are for both student and parent(s)/guardian(s). Please note: Returning 7th and 8th graders do not need to attend these sessions.

7th and 8th graders

Students entering 7th and 8th grade may drop by MMS at any time during these hours to get their schedule, find their locker, and pay fees.

Wednesday, August 12th, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

August 26th (Wednesday) - “Meet and Greet Day” for K-8 and “Freshmen First Day”

Freshmen First Day - only freshmen attend, upperclassmen do not have school this day. Drop-off starts at 7:30 am, the day starts at 8 am. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Students will spend time in each of their first-semester classes. The day will end with an activity fair. Pick-up time is 3 pm. NO BUSES RUN THIS DAY.

Middle School - Students and parents are encouraged to stop by the middle school sometime between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm and pick up their finalized schedule. Plan to spend some time connecting with the pod teachers, putting away supplies in lockers, dropping off medications, and paying fees. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have regarding your son/daughter’s school year. Pictures are also taken during this time.
