At the October 7th City Council meeting, Menomonie Parks and Recreation Director Mitch Stai presented the 2024 Wakanda Park Report. Attendance was down a little compared to 2023. Construction Update! Last week, the Menomonie Hydro Plant Xcel Energy crews installed the final layer of shotcrete coating on the embankment! These photos show the robotic arm used to spray the shotcrete on the surface. This week, the crews will begin working on shoreline protection. At 3:54 PM on Tuesday September 17, 2024, a crash occurred on County Highway B at Interchange of I-94 in DUNN County near MENOMONIE.
