Scotty E. Sutliff

Scotty Eugene Sutliff, age 93, of Menomonie, WI passed away Thursday October 30th, 2025 at Parkview Assisted Living in Woodville, WI.

Scotty was born December 21st, 1931 in Boyceville, WI, Dunn County to Bertha and Harvey Sutliff. He grew up in Boyceville and graduated from Menomonie High School.

After graduation from high school, Scotty enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 4 years in Anchorage, Alaska.

On June 7, 1972 Scotty married Bernice Jacobson at Little Elk Creek Lutheran Church in rural Menomonie.

After serving in the U.S Air Force, Scotty and his wife, Bernice, ran the Colonial Pines Supper Club in rural Menomonie for 17 years. After that they moved into Menomonie where they lived after selling the Colonial Pines. Scotty was on the Menomonie City Council for one term.

Scotty was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, and his parents, Bertha and Harvey Sutliff.

A gathering in Scotty's memory will take place from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Olson's Funeral home in Menomonie. Burial will be held at a later date at the Froen Cemetery in the town of Red Cedar, Dunn Co. WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Dunn County Humane Society in Scotty's memory.
