Denim Tapestry Project at Menomonie Market Food Co-Op - April 29th

Individuals who have been impacted by sexual violence, whether they are a survivor/victim or they know someone who is, are invited to decorate a denim square.
Use your square to share your story, reflect your experiences, and/or show support through meaningful images, words, or symbols.
The squares will be sewn together into a tapestry to demonstrate the impact of sexual violence on an individual, the community, and how even though surviving can feel isolating, the individual is part of a collective whole.
Squares of denim, along with paint and a variety of craft supplies, will be provided. You’re also welcome to bring additional materials for yourself or to share with others!
Wisconsin Milkweed Alliance (WIMA) will be co-hosting this workshop with The Bridge to Hope.
This event is free, and no signup is required. Drop by between 4:00 - 6:00 at Menomonie Market Food Co-Op on April 29th to participate. Contact The Bridge to Hope if you have any questions about this event!
