Card Bingo takes place every Tuesday evening at The Pioneer from 6 to 8 pm, except for the second Tuesday of each month. The event is built around three ideas: Fun, Friendship, and Charity.
Participants play a total of 11 bingo games each night. The first 10 games cost $10 total, with each game’s pot paid directly to that game’s winner. The 11th game, known as the “Big Pot”, costs an additional $5 per player.
The proceeds from the final game are donated to a school in Dunn County, selected by the winner of the 11th game. The principal of the chosen school then awards the money to a teacher, helping offset the cost of classroom supplies—many of which teachers currently purchase with their own money. The final pot typically totals around $100, depending on attendance.
In addition to the charitable aspect, Card Bingo encourages social interaction by having players move between tables throughout the evening, helping participants connect with new people.
Those interested in attending should bring ten $1 bills and one $5 bill. No prior card bingo experience is necessary.
Card Bingo is open to the public. Community members are invited to stop by on Tuesday evenings to enjoy games, meet new people, and support a good cause.
