Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser event helps Stepping Stones fight hunger in Dunn County

Stepping Stones of Dunn County is excited to announce its upcoming Empty Bowls fundraiser on Saturday, October 17th from 11am-2pm, at Cobble & Vine (N7391 County Rd F, Menomonie, WI), to continue to provide food, shelter and support throughout Dunn County.
Attendees can enjoy unlimited soup, fresh breads, and desserts while listening to live music from Jim Nelson & Jim “Doc” Miller. The family-friendly event features a bucket raffle, a 50/50 raffle, and free face painting for kids, provided by The Doodle Brigade.
Tickets are available to purchase at Cobble & Vine or online HERE ahead of time. General admission is priced at $20, with a discounted rate of $15 for seniors, students, and military members, and $5 for children under 12. Additionally, attendees can purchase unique handmade collectible bowls for an extra $10.
Due to federal funding cuts, higher costs, and added expenses, the support from the community is more important than ever.
“This is an extremely important fundraiser,” said Stepping Stones Development Manager Dustyn Dubuque. “This is the one event I have been to numerous times before I was employed by Stepping Stones. It is a great way to come together for a cause that affects so many of our neighbors. All proceeds will go directly to supporting the 12% of Dunn County we help with each year through our services. This year's event will be very fun in such a gorgeous location.”
