Menomonie native Dale Manor will be painting a Welcome to Menomonie Mural this summer. He has been sharing information on Facebook and agreed to let me repost on the Menomonie Minute. His updates include background on what will be painted in each letter.

I’ve been painting murals for over 20 years. I’ve painted them in California, Florida, Canada, New England, and all over the Midwest. But I have yet to get the opportunity to paint a mural in my hometown of Menomonie, WI. That will be changing this summer when my wife Brenda and I will paint the “Welcome to Menomonie Mural”.
My daughter Jacque Dye is opening a new business in Menomonie this year, and we have obtained permission from the owners of the building at 620 Main St. E., to paint an 1100 sq. ft. mural on the east side of the building.
The mural features historic architectural sites as well as various Menomonie and Dunn County points of interest in a 1940’s Large Letter post card style. The mural will cover an area 15' tall X 75' wide.
We are planning on starting the mural project during the “Let’s Paint the Town” event in Downtown Menomonie on July 22-23, 2022. We will be releasing more information as the project develops.
