Water main break and sinkhole closes part of 5th St. W

5th Street West will be closed from 14th Avenue West to Menomonie High School until at least Tuesday, July 8 due to a water main break and resulting sinkhole. Water Department and Community Services crews are hard at work making the repair, but the roadway will not be passable until next week. Thank you for your understanding and thank you to the crews fast to respond this holiday weekend!
