Wakanda Wonderland Returns for a Second Year

From the Dunn County Historical Society's website:

Our holiday festival is returning to Menomonie and Dunn County! Wakanda Wonderland will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

Wakanda Wonderland is a community gathering featuring decorated holiday trees created by local businesses and community groups — perfect for a family outing. Located on the east lawn of the Rassbach Heritage Museum in Menomonie’s Wakanda Park, the event will feature tree viewing, bonfires, food and beverages, wagon rides, a holiday photo opportunities, and a Holiday Market with baked goods and gifts.

If you or your business/organization is interested in sponsoring and decorating a tree, visit the Dunn County Historical Society's website for more information.

EB Ranch Farmstead will be set up with a mini studio on the museum grounds to take photos perfect for a holiday card, or a memento of the holidays! Volunteers will be available to help take photos with your device.

The Museum is excited to welcome back Silhouettes by Chris. Chris, a second generation, internationally known, professional silhouette artist cuts the silhouettes freehand. It is amazing to watch. He just uses surgical scissors and fine paper — no tracing, painting, or mechanical aids. On average, it only takes him 2-3 minutes to hand-cut an heirloom quality, detailed silhouette. These can be of adults, children and even pets. For more information, pricing and to sign up, visit the DCHS website.
