First Congregational Church's Tour of Homes - Historical Landmarks December 3rd



The First Congregational United Church of Christ will be having their 59th Annual Tour of Homes - Historical Landmarks on Saturday, December 3rd from 9am-2pm. This is a free event.

This year we are taking a step back in time featuring three historical landmarks in our community.

  • Oaklawn Inn is a historic Victorian Farmhouse built by lumber baron Andrew Tainter in 1889. Address 423 Technology Drive E.

  • The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts is our second landmark. NOTE: The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts portion of the tour IS ONLY OPEN FROM 10:00AM TO 12:00PM

  • The First Congregation Church, United Church of Christ, whose current building was built in 1892, is the third historic landmark. Address 420 Wilson Avenue.
