Both City PD and Sheriff ask individuals to check vehicles
Officers responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle early this morning in the area of River Heights Road. One person was arrested and faces several charges, and was located with multiple items in their possession that were not theirs. We are asking residents in that area to check and ensure that their vehicles were not entered overnight.

This was near county residences as well. Those in the area, please check your vehicles. This is also a reminder to lock your vehicles. In this case specifically, a locked car was a deterrent for the individual.
