Tickets are now on sale for the Menomonie Theater Guild's production of Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley. Shows are the first two weekends in December (see below for dates and times). Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students/seniors/military. Tickets can be found online here.
From the Menomonie Theater Guild Facebook page:
Directed by the talented Anna Mae Zabrowski, making her MTG directorial debut. Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley is a sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and is set two years after that novel ends and continues the story, this time with nerdy middle-sister Mary as the unlikely heroine.
Mary is growing tired of her role as the dutiful middle sister in the midst of everyone else’s romantic escapades. When the family gathers for Christmas at Pemberley, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match, and possibly even love! You don't have to be a Jane Austen fan to enjoy this witty, comedic show filled with holiday magic. With gorgeous period costumes and sets, this show is a feast for the eyes and the soul!
