SDMA Summer Academy
Registration for the Menomonie School Districts Summer Academy 2023 will open on Monday, April 3rd at 12 noon and close on Thursday, May 18th at 4pm. Registration must be done online through Skyward Student/Family Access. If you do not have access to the internet or a computer, you can reserve a device at the Administrative Services Center. Call them at 715-232-1642 for more information.
Menomonie Recreation Department Programming
Registration for recreation department summer programming will open on Monday, April 3rd starting at 8 am. Online registration can be found here.

The School District of the Menomonie Area is excited to once again provide our families with a wide variety of summer opportunities for Summer Academy 2023!
Students will have the opportunity to choose up to 4 different classes in both Sessions 1 and 2 at the high school for students entering grades 1-12. River Heights Elementary will host incoming Kindergarten students in Camp Kindergarten along with incoming pre 4K-grade 5 students for both sessions 1 & 2. Menomonie Parks and Recreation and the SDMA strive to make enrollment easier for our families by offering all summer school registrations through the SDMA website at www.sdmaonline.com.
NEW THIS YEAR: Summer Academy Registration student verification information can be completed prior to the Arena Scheduling window starting on Monday, March 27, 2023. Please note - Arena Scheduling is where you choose classes and you will have to log in again to complete this step when it opens at noon on Monday, April 3rd.
Online only registration for Summer Academy 2023, will begin at noon on Monday, April 3rd and conclude on Thursday, May 18th at 4:00 p.m. Registration is completed through your Skyward family access account. You will need your family access username and password to complete the enrollment. If you have not used family access or forgotten your password, please call Marinella Lee at (715) 232-1642, ext. 11331 or Morgan Seguin, (715) 232-1816. If you do not have access to a computer, computers will be available for online registration at the Administrative Service Center, 215 Pine Avenue E throughout the online enrollment period. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (715) 232-1642. Guidance and ELL staff in each building will also be able to assist families with the registration process. There are no registration fees for summer school and all classes are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Once again, FREE breakfast/lunch and FREE bus service are provided at both summer school locations. If your child will need bus service to and from summer school, pre-registration is required by calling Menomonie Transportation at (715) 235-4995.
Due to a scheduling conflict, if you are registering your student for both Freshman Strength and Speed and the Boys Basketball Players Academy 1 for grades 8-9, you will need to email Carla Klingfus carla_klingfus@msd.k12.wi.us to enroll. Please provide your student’s full legal name in your correspondence.
