Menomonie Farmer's Market will open for its 23rd season on Saturday May 20th and will operate every Wednesday and Saturday through October 21st. Market times are Saturdays 8AM - 1PM & Wednesdays 10AM - 6PM
Fresh seasonal produce, cheese, honey, eggs, meats, bakery items & other food vendors will be set up under the pavilion, art vendors on the grass area, and ready to eat food vendors will be utilizing a small pavilion on the west side of the park. We will be welcoming local musicians to play in the band shell and will be offering extra spaces in the park for kids' activities, sports and arts.
The market will have an EBT Token program, where EBT cardholders will be able to use their SNAP benefits to purchase fresh local food from vendors. We will also continue with the Market Match program, offering a $10 match (one per family per visit) to all families purchasing tokens!
Menomonie Farmer's Market strives to be a ZERO WASTE market, where all leftover produce is donated or composted after the market day. We will have compost baskets during the market days for all vendors to use as needed; Stepping Stones volunteers will be picking up donations after each market day as the season progresses.
Starting this year, we will allow pets/dogs on the grass areas only and not inside the pavilion, where food is being sold/served. We plan to have signs letting people know about this rule. Service animals, of course, are exempt from this change.
