Mustang sophomore Brayten Casey took home the Division 1 State Championship in the 106-pound weight class yesterday down in Madison. Casey won in triple overtime despite a shoulder injury.
Junior Kellan Aure, wrestling at 132 pounds, also went into triple overtime in his match and came home as the runner-up.
There will be a welcome home event at the Menomonie Field House parking lot at 2:00 pm today (Sunday, 2/27). Please bring signs, balloons and noise makers to show support for their great accomplishments.
