Speak Up for Libraries Post Card Campaign

You may have heard that Wisconsin is #1 in the U.S. in book borrowing per capita!

The Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) gets a big assist in making this possible by funding Interlibrary Loan Services (aka WISCAT); they support many other services as well.

You may also have heard that IMLS funding is in jeopardy. IMLS funding comes to Wisconsin as a block grant from the federal government. Saving this funding will take some work. Our library system (IFLS) is coordinating a postcard campaign to let our federal representatives know how important this funding is in our everyday lives.

Make your voice heard! Stop in anytime to fill out up to three postcards, one for each of our elected representatives. Your voice matters! We supply the postcards and stamps. You supply the library enthusiasm.
