Segment of US 12 in Menomonie to close to traffic July 7

Closure from Heller Road to WIS 25 necessary to construction concrete median

Starting Monday, July 7, US 12 will be closed between Heller Road and WIS 25 in the Dunn County city of Menomonie for the construction of a raised median.

The closure is expected to be in place through Aug. 4. During that time, traffic will be detoured via Oak Avenue and WIS 25 North.

Construction of the median is part of a resurfacing project on US 12 between I-94 and WIS 25 and a safety improvement project at the intersection of US 12, WIS 25 and Pine Avenue East.

Construction began in May, and all work is scheduled for completion in early August.
