The School District of the Menomonie Area, in partnership with Menomonie Parks and Recreation, is excited to once again provide our families with a wide variety of summer opportunities for Summer Programming 2025!
Summer School Dates: - Monday through Thursday
Session 1: (2 weeks) June 16, 17, 18, 19 & June 23, 24, 25, 26
Session 2: (2 weeks) July 7, 8, 9, 10 & July 14, 15, 16, 17
Session 3: (2 weeks) July 21, 22, 23, 24 & July 28, 29,30, 31
Art Camp: (1 week) - Monday through Friday - August 4th through August 8th
Friday Fun Activities- June 13, 20, 27* (will be finalized before enrollment begins)
Students will have the opportunity to choose up to 4 different classes for Sessions 1, 2, and 3 at the high school for students entering grades 1-12. River Heights Elementary will host incoming kindergarten students in Camp Kindergarten along with incoming Pre4K-Grade 5 students for all three sessions.

Online-only registration for Summer Academy 2025, will begin at noon on Monday, April 7th, and conclude on Thursday, May 15th at 4:00 p.m.
Registration is completed through your Skyward family access account. You will need your family access username and password to complete the enrollment. If you have not used family access or forgotten your password, please call Marinella Lee at (715) 232-1642, ext. 11331, or Morgan Seguin, at (715) 232-1816. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ONLINE REGISTRATION IS A 2-STEP PROCESS.
Step 1: Summer Academy Registration: This is where you verify your student’s information in our student database. (opens on Monday, March 31, 2025).
Step 2: Arena Scheduling: This is where you will choose classes. (Monday, April 7th at noon).
CONTINUING THIS YEAR: Summer Academy Registration student verification information can be completed before the Arena Scheduling window opens, starting on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Please note: Arena Scheduling is where you choose classes, and you will have to log in again to complete this step when it opens at noon on Monday, April 7th.
Please do not register for a course multiple times. Class content will stay the same for each session.
Due to a scheduling conflict, if your student is enrolled in a high school online course and they plan to enroll in one of the following courses, you will need to email Carla Klingfus carla_klingfus@msd.k12.wi.us to enroll in these classes only. Please provide your student’s full legal name in your correspondence.
Boys Strength & Speed (Grades 10, 11, 12)
Girls Strength & Speed (Grades 9, 10, 11, 12)
If you do not have access to a computer, computers will be available for online registration at the Administrative Service Center, 215 Pine Avenue E, throughout the online enrollment period. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (715) 232-1642. School Counselors and EL staff in each building will also be able to assist families with the registration process. There are no registration fees for summer school, and all classes are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Once again, FREE breakfast/lunch and FREE bus service are provided at both summer school locations. If your child will need bus service to and from summer school, pre-registration is required by calling Menomonie Transportation at (715) 235-4995.
