Rocket Rendezvous at the Rassbach Museum - October 7th

The Dunn County Historical Society presents Rocket Rendezvous on Saturday, October 7th at the Rassbach Museum.

Join us for an amazing day of learning about rockets led by Professors Matthew Kuchta (geology) and Alan Scott (physics) from UW-Stout's Department of Chemistry and Physics.

MORNING SESSION [9 - 11:30 a.m.]: ROCKETS 101 Building and testing multiple kinds of rockets. » Pre-registration REQUIRED » 8 to 14-year-olds » Limited to 20 spots » Non-Members: $30 per kid | Members: $25 per kid

A special Zoom meeting at 11 a.m. -- a live Q&A with Tyler Theberge, Deputy Chief Engineer, Delta IV at 4 Space Launch Squadron, United States Air Force. Learn about Tyler's exciting career with rockets.

AFTERNOON SESSION [1 - 3:30 p.m.] Open to the public, experiment with rockets!

Activities include: » Pool noodle rockets » Straw rockets » Cutout lander » Water rockets » Model solid rocket engine tests at 1:30 and 2:15 p.m.
