Attention Parents and Guardians of Middle & High School Students!
Do you remember the impact of programs like STEPS for Girls? Tiffany Hoage, a 1997 STEPS alum, does, and she’s carrying that legacy forward with a new opportunity designed to ignite curiosity and confidence in today’s youth.
While UW-Stout no longer offers the STEPS for Girls Camp, Tiffany is continuing that tradition through an exciting, inclusive experience for students of all genders:
Introducing RISE Camp (Robotics-Inspired STEAM Exploration)
A hands-on summer camp that encourages students to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in a fun and engaging environment.
Campers will:
Build and program robots
Design team logos and web pages
Capture their experiences through photography and videography
Build leadership skills and learn the values of teamwork and collaboration through FIRST Core Values like gracious professionalism and coopertition
Be mentored by UW-Stout’s FRC Team 10264 - STORM, a robotics team made up of middle and high school students passionate about STEM and outreach.
