Public Form Discussing Red Cedar Watershed

LAKES REU 2022 Community Forum And Research Dissemination will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 5-8pm at the Raw Deal.

From the Facebook Event page:

What public policies work best for improving our land and water?

How can citizens and communities best use their resources to improve water quality?

What is most impactful in terms of conservation agriculture?

What creative bioremediation techniques are feasible?

Please join us at this public forum at The Raw Deal in Menomonie!

Everyone is welcome, as students from across the country share their research conducted in the Red Cedar Watershed during the summer of 2022.

Teams working with UW-Stout faculty (Anthropology, Psychology, Biology, Math, & Engineering) will be presenting their research in an open-house format, with the opportunity to engage directly & have important conversations.

This is a significant expansion on previous years' work and will facilitate some data-driven discussions on challenges and opportunities within our watershed.
