WEAU covered WoodWind Park's 2nd Annual Park for a Purpose, which benefited the Community Tables of Menomonie. You can watch it HERE. If you missed the event and want to donate, it's not too late. Donations can be sent to Thursday's Table, PO Box 669, Menomonie. Note "Park for a Purpose" in the memo line, and the money will be split among the four community tables.

Cook's Pumpkin Patch, located at N4873 610th Street, shared on Facebook that someone broke into the cash box at their pumpkin stand and stole all of the cash. The suspect was described as a tall, slender man in his early 30s wearing a black baseball cap. He was driving a tan or gray 4 door car. Please contact the Dunn County Sheriff's Office with any tips.
A local family lost everything in a house fire earlier this week. A GoFundMe has been set up to help them out. The GoFundMe includes a list of items the family (which includes an 11-year-old boy) is in need of.
MHS Class of 2022 graduate Bella Jacobsen finished in 7th place and helped lead the Wisconsin Badgers Women's Cross-Country team to victory at the Badger Classic last weekend. Bella was the second Badger to finish the race and did so in 18.18.8 minutes!
