The Clerk of Court office will no longer be accepting passport applications as of November 1st. Other area locations accepting passports can be found here.


The Buffalo Jrz drummers and dancers from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa will be performing a drum and dance demonstration from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the Memorial Student Center Great Hall. I'm looking for more information on this event and will post it if it becomes available


Wisconsin's digital library is looking for feedback from patrons. The survey, which is open until November 4th, will take about 10-15 minutes and can be found here.

Free at home covid test kits are still available and can be ordered online here. In addition, there may still be some available at any of the schools in the SDMA.

With cold weather coming, remember, Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips or extension cords. Space heaters need to be plugged in directly into the wall outlet. Powers strips are not designed to handle the high current flow required by a space heater and can overheat causing a fire.
