Dunn County Paranormal (this is an actual Facebook page) is looking for spooky stories from the Dunn County area. Send them an email at DunnCountyParanormal@gmail.com.

Stepping Stones shared the following...

  • St. Joseph Parish & School dropped off 276 pounds of items from their Giving Tree along with gift cards for households in our shelter program. Thank you to the staff and students for these thoughtful, and much needed, items!

  • Food for Fines, held by the Menomonie Police Department ended on Dec 31st and the final numbers are in.....872 pounds of food was collected! Our pantry had food, and (hopefully) some of you are now parking ticket free. Thank you!

Dunn County Crime Stoppers shared the following reminder: Someone might ask you to pay for something by putting money on a gift card, like a Google Play or iTunes card, and then giving them the numbers on the back of the card. If they ask you to do this, they’re trying to scam you. No real business or government agency will ever insist you pay them with a gift card. Anyone who demands to be paid with a gift card is a scammer.

Bucky Badger was recently voted the #1 mascot in the Big Ten and finished #4 nationally. Check out his performance here.
