Notes for the Week Ending 11/4

The Bridge to Hope was in need of a new van and recently held a fundraiser to try to reach that goal. They shared this week that they were able to purchase a new vehicle thanks to community members who donated to the fundraiser, Markquart Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Menomonie, and donor advised funds from the Community Foundation of Dunn County. They look forward to many more miles of helping victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking.

There were a number a number of vehicle break-ins reported in North Menomonie. Valuables were stolen. Be careful and don't leave valuables in your car, even if it is locked.

The Wisconsin Foster Closet is in need of clothing in boys size 16 and 18 and men's size XS. If you have items in this range that you would like to donate please contact them at 715-330-3303 for a drop off appointment. You can also message them through their Facebook page.

From the City of Menomonie Facebook page: Did you know that leaves and other fall organic debris contribute to over 50% of the annual total phosphorus load in urban storm water? Our waterways receive storm water from thousands of homes each time it rains. Keep leaves and other trash out of the gutter and away from storm drains.
