Free downtown parking ended Friday, August 19. In addition to the meters, you can pay for parking via kiosk or the Park Smarter app in city lots 6 and 10. More information on parking regulations can be found here:


The Dunn County Historical Society is hosting a Collectors Day on September 24th. They are looking for collectors to share their collections and their knowledge with the public. If you are interested, check this prior post (includes a link to the DCHS website) for more information.


Halloween will be here before we know it. The Haunted Trail has changed its name to The Haunted Hillside. They will be posting their schedule shortly.


Hurlburt Heating & Plumbing is once again participating in Lennox's Feel the Love program. If you know of a local family in need, please nominate them. Lennox donates the equipment, Hurlburt Heating & Plumbing volunteers their time, and a deserving family receives a new furnace and air conditioner at absolutely no cost to them. You can submit a nomination at this link. Put Hurlburt Heating & Plumbing (Lennox Dealer E25550) as the dealer. The deadline for nominations is August 31.


Megabus offers a bus route between Minneapolis (U of M campus area) and Menomonie (UW Stout). A one-way ticket is $12.
