Notes for the Week - 5/26

City Hall offices have switched to summer hours. They will be open Monday through Thursday from 8am-4:30pm and Friday from 8am-12pm.

Free meters in Downtown Menomonie start on Monday, May 30th and continue through August 19th. The meters in lot #10 and the 15-minute meters in front of the post office are NOT included in this.

The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on May 14th resulted in 3,800 pounds of food being donated to Stepping Stones.

Wisconsin's Click It or Ticket mobilization effort kicked off this week. Participating agencies will be patrolling to encourage drivers and passengers to buckle up.

For the first time ever, the Menomonie Police Department won the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive that was held on May 20th.

The Bridge to Hope is in need of at home covid tests. If you have some extras on hand, please consider donating.

Speaking of at home covid tests, every home in the US is eligible for a third round of free tests. You can order them here.
