Notes for the Week - 1/12

Health Dunn Right has a blog! Check it out here. They also have a monthly newsletter you can subscribe to and a new website.

Save the date: The Bridge to Hope will be holding their Designer Purse Bingo on Saturday, April 22nd. Watch for more info to come.

A reminder that the Red Cedar Trail from Menomonie to Downsville is for skiing only. Ski trails are clearly marked with signage at Hoffman Hills. The trail from Downsville to Cty Y is multi use for walking and snowshoeing. Signs are posted at both ski areas not to walk on the designated ski trails at Hoffman Hills and the Red Cedar Trail. Walking on the ski trails damages the grooming and creates unsafe conditions for skiers.

Landmark Conservancy is looking for people that can help with snow removal at the Devil's Punchbowl this winter. If you are interested, please contact sara@landmarkwi.org. If you are volunteering or visiting, remember to wear footwear with good traction and consider something like YakTrax for your boots.

A reminder from the City of Menomonie: The Dunn County Treasurer will be collecting the FIRST and SECOND installments of the 2022 Real Estate and Personal Property taxes for the City of Menomonie. All Real Estate Taxes and Personal Property taxes need to be paid at the Dunn County Treasurer's Office: 3001 US Hwy 12 E, Suite 102A (Old Health Care Center).
