Congratulations to the Mustang wrestlers who finished 2nd as a team at the WIAA D1 Regionals on February 11th in Hayward. All 14 varsity competitors contributed to the team's 2nd place finish and a chance to move on to compete at the Team Sectional Tournament this Tuesday.
The Mustangs will wrestle against Holmen at Eau Claire North High School on Tuesday, February 14th. Wrestling starts at 6pm. The winner of that dual will then wrestle against the winner of the Marshfield vs West Salem/Bangor dual.
The Menomonie Wrestling Club is asking our amazing community to show up for the team and pack the EC North gym on Tuesday night to support your Menomonie Mustang Wrestlers as they take the next step on the road to the state tournament.
In addition, the Mustangs will send 12 of their 14 wrestlers to Individual Sectionals next Saturday (February 18th) at Eau Claire North.
