The Mustang boys hockey team has advanced to the sectional final with a 6-3 win over Balwin on Tuesday night in the sectional semifinal game. Scoring for the Mustangs were Cody Dahms with a hat trick, David Fern, Colton Szotkowski, and Hayden Weir.
In the sectional final, the #2 seed Mustangs will be playing the #4 seed Altoona Co-op (aka RAM - Regis/Altoona/McDonell) at Somerset on Saturday, February 25. The game starts at noon. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time here. The entry access code is SKATE. They will be selling at the door as well, though seating is limited and expected to sell out.
The winner will advance to the state semifinal game on Thursday, March 2nd which will be played in Middleton.
